Picking up a lovely 2009 Matt black 1050 next week can't wait Only thing I'm asking is my dad who has had a few bikes in his time ,tried to put me off buying it as the one he owned he said that the suspension was too hard But I rode a 2007 a few weeks ago and had no issues with the suspention being too hard
Hi Clarkey Welcome to the forum. I'm guessing if your old enough to have a full license you are old enough to make your own mind up. The suspension on the Speed is quite firm but this old bloke rode one for 18 months and did not find it too uncomfortable. Look forward to picking up your new machine....you will have a great time

Hi and welcome to the forum. The Speed triples are great bikes and you can always adjust the suspension to suit :wink: Anyway if you want something with very hard suspension try an early 636 Ninja as the are bloody awful. Cheers Steve
Thanks for all your replys guys Took the triple out for a blast at the weekend gonna get some new tyres first then will get a guy I met on 1000rr.co.uk Fourm to adjust the suspention on my bike to suit my weight then even happier days
