Hi all, thought that I might as well join in, I've had a few Triumphs in my time, first bike was a '62 Tiger Cub (In 1968) I have ridden many bikes, and restored a few too, always seem to return to Triumph though. I had a Speed Twin '55, and a 1970 Bonnie. I've been following the Bonnie progress and I always checked out new models since they first appeared at Hinckley, and didn't see any I fancy until I saw a T100 2013 model. It sort of looked my old 1970 Bonnie. I loved the bike, but it wasn't until I saw the 2016 1200 range that I really became interested. One test ride convinced me to get one! It was the Thruxton R, I planned to still use the T100 for touring and camping....until I saw the T120 After some deliberation, I did a part ex at my local dealers, for the T120 2016 model, it is what the T100 2013 model should have been i.m.o sorry. I meant to keep this short! so I have 2 1200 Triumphs, I am retired now, and financed most of it by selling a couple of vintage BSA's It's a bit full circle now, because I am restoring a '65 Tiger Cub... Cheers Guy's! I took both out for a spin to dry off, and rode up the rode on the 120, and noticed the LH bar end mirror is way out....must have knocked it.. easy to do as they're both squeezed into a lock up with a Tiger Cub sandwich!
