Hello all... i live in cheshire, not far from Chester. Have had many bikes in the past, 99% kawasakis, but always fancied a Triumph. I like the 90s models best (sorry to all who have newer ones) and have wanted a black Daytona since sitting on one at the NEC many years ago. Anyway, knackerd joints and a bigger belly mean that i can't get on with the head down arse up riding position, even a gentle one. So tomorrow i pick up my 1993 Trident :biggrin::biggrin: Looks in good condition, low miles (28,000), 3 into 1 stainless remus, etc...apparently the motor has been blueprinted, but as there is no proof we can that with a pinch of salt. So get the van in the morning, drive to the other side of the country, pick it up, home and into the shed...to much snow and salt on the roads. So a big hi from me...and hope to meet up for ride outs when the weather improves.... (and a mate is on here..ow-doo mavis..:biggrin
Hey hello Jonny and welcome to the forum, Glad to hear of another ex jap rider seeing the light and making the best decision ever... Sounds good, be sure to get some pics on here... Enjoy
cheers guys  still got a gpz project in the shed, been there for years now though. Last bike was a gpz900r which i had wanted since they first came out in '84. Got one after all that time but couldn't get comfy on it. Great bike though. Really looking forward to 'turning british' though :upyeah: Will get lots of pics tomorrow and share them with you.
Hi Jonny. Happy new bike. Can't live far from you - Halkyn in North Wales. Take it easy, might see you about. B
Welcome to the forum Jonny..good luck tomorrow hope it works out well...look forward to seeing the photos..
Not a lot - when I get out on the bike I tend to head South but I'm trying to get 'Bloodbikes' started up here so I'll be frequenting local places a bit more.
Just something I feel is a worthy cause, so I've decided to give it a go: Nationwide Association of Blood Bikes
Hi J, were you near Cheshire Oaks at about 3:30 (ish) today by any chance? Silver helmet if memory serves.
Omg all we need is that song from Radio 1 playing in the back ground..... Our tune I think it's called.. Lmao
