spent several hours in Callander yesterday checking out the hostels (decided the one i initally thought off is going to be too far from the town so the one in town looks a better bet),i also spoke to several hoteliers and B&B owners and all looks good:cool: i don't have time to stick a proposal up today but if @MrOrange can unlock the proposal thread i'll put something in tommorow

Worth knowing Abi that in reality, Alistair James Hay Murray the real person has a degree from Oxford in modern history, I believe he's fluent in German and is in remainder to both Scottish and English peerage titles, the barony of Strange and the dukedom if Atholl. His grandfather was the Victorian novelist William Makepeace Thakeray. He's a bit posh really!

Hahaha, well that makes it all different than ;)
Intellectual and humorous, that is indeed a rare thing.

In my opinion, somebody with a good sense of humor, is almost always intelligent. So when I laugh at you, you know what I think. :p

And he was head boy at Bedford School, round the corner from my house. In reality he's a posh bloke.

You might get more joy Dougie if you "start a conversation". It's worked for me in the past.
