On my way back home! Do you come from Harwich and then with the Stena Line? Nice trip to Germany! Not much to see in the Netherlands though, haha
No from Hull . Although if I still lived in the UK I would have come that way. So nothing in the Netherlands ah. No hills but lots of nice flowers . It's on my to do list. My Grandad was in Holland during the war and said the Dutch were the nicest people he ever met .
Nice flowers, very nice people, canals, bikes, windmills, Liquorice Allsorts, Vincent Van Gogh and interesting architecture!
Looks nice Steve , I think ElectrAbigail wants it for herself. She dont want us riff raff over there eating her allsorts
Oké, sorry. There's a lot to see in the Netherlands, but it's not so much fun on a bike. Flat and straight roads. But the windmills at Kinderdijk is a nice ride.
That's true - I spent more time pedalling than I did riding, but a pleasant change from hilly old England!
Sorry ElectrAbigail, You haven't put me off, , The only down side of Holland would be the amount of Push Bikes But Flowers, Windmills and nice people i can live with.
And there’s more to the Netherlands than just Amsterdam (too full of tourists). Utrecht is nice, so is Amersfoort and countless other towns and villages. Fish here is great (kibbeling) and herrings. Oh and the Dutch are quite good at making beer. There I’ve done my bit for the Dutch tourist board.
You have my attention if you can eat these. There's not many would even look at my Runder Knacks let alone eat them
