    Thank you DD :)

At the moment I have Bell M6 Carbon and Shoie GT-Air.

Looking for a lid (without breaking the bank) for local runs to town and back. The Simpsons looks the part but I'll probably need to apply for a bank loan :D

    Hi ,
    I looked at those,which also have graphics,however.
My much younger and wiser son pointed out,the bottom section on some of those are not providing chin protection,so I was a bore McGraw and bought a full face Shark, from same family, with chin bar than goes over the top out the way..so kind of best of both worlds if I feel like losing my jaw!
Ps: Not cheap, but what price the head..

Hi R_1000, I recently bought an LS2 Valiant helmet. You can ride with it as in open face or full face mode. It is cheaper according to my friendly sales person at my local dealer, and better than the Shark equiviant. At just over £200 it is £100 cheaper than the Shark as well.

    The LS2 looks sweet.

Last week I ended up purchasing the shark raw and Drift X to go with. This lid is only for town use. I just hope I don't topple and regret this

This is practically an open face lid with goggles. The mask is just there to stop crap flying into your face. Plenty of ventilation and the goggles never fogs (let's see if that claim is true). If it is true then it will good in central with stop start traffic.

One of the main reasons for purchasing this.... The sinister mean look....

Once I fit the drift camera, I shall post pics;)

Just don’t go too far with the “mean biker look” ‘cos sometimes it just isn’t!

Received my Shark Raw today. Fit is slightly on the tight side. I kept the lid on just over 30mins and no headaches or tight spots. I'm sure it will bedin with use.

Visor sits comfortably on your nose. Feels a little claustrophobic as this is my first lid with goggles. So just matter of getting used to it Vision is super clear with light tint. It feels as it can be used both night and day.

Lid is very light. I went for the gloss black finish and I like it. I debated between Matt and gloss Bought the Matt 1st, felt it would be difficult maintaining it. Maybe I just didn't know how to. Anyways ended up with gloss black

It's a ratchet strapping system. Feels good with nice soft lining all over the strap. So it doesn't rub against your neck.

One vent on top with just open and close. Feels a little flimsy. It is an open face lid so I guess I shouldn't complain about it. I'm sure when you are on the move there be plenty air flowing through. Freeze face in winter.

Goggles... I just can't get it to fog up. I guess proper winter ride in town will speak the truth.

I like the lid very much. But there is no way I'll use this lid for spirited riding. This lid is only for town runs through London lovely traffic.

Now just trying to figure out how to mount the drift camera..... Bit high up or little low. Decisions Decisions

Apparently Nitrinos Predator helmet visor visibility is very limited hence the helmet is not certified for road use. This is what I read from a 2013 article. This might have changed by now

Oh...just read that Predator 3 & 4 are now certified with 50% more visibility :). This lid is a complete revamp by using Nolan as a base model to acquire certification. The basic price is $800:eek:

Now that’s a strange animal! Does the visor actually open to give the rider some creature comforts?

This is how it would look with the bike :). I guess all good with the lid as long as I keep the rubber side down ;)
