My budget Garmin is the best bit of kit I’ve ever bought.
The gent I purchased it off could have ask for twice his price and it still would have been worth it, if fact I’m sure Steve Lovatt wanted to buy it at the GMU because he kept going on about it ;);)

Not arranged a time yet. Wondered if folk wanted to stop somewhere for a meal or just a cup of tea and a slice of cake before we got on the boat ?
I don't suppose there's anything "nice" near the docks but there might be a decent stopping point before Hull. There again you just might want to get there and get on the boat.

I’m always ready for food, but not motorway service food, am I allowed to call it food

If you look on google maps, just off the A63 there’s quite a few eateries if peeps want to stop for food.

Looking at the itinerary, boat sails at 18:30, you must check in at least 90 mins before departure makes it 17:00.
They'll probably start loading 16:00 ish???

One thing I would suggest is that we all fill up with fuel before we get to the ferry port so we aren’t peeing about looking for fuel just after we’ve got off the ferry.

So Hartshead Moor services to Hull ferry terminal is about 1hr 30mins.
If we want to get to the ferry directly for say 16:30 we need to leave Hartshead by 15:00.
But getting there 2 hours before sailing time seems a bit early to me.

As the itinerary says ‘You must check in at least 90 mins before your departure’ which makes it 17:00 at the latest what time do you want to arrive.
Once on board and you’ve found your cabin got changed out of your riding gear, done your hair and put on some fresh makeup on time would have flown and I’ll have to go up to the bridge to see if the captain wants to borrow a descent Satnav. We don’t want to end up asking directions like Del Boy did when they sailed across the North Sea to Holland :joy:

Are we stopping for food enroute if not I’ll have a meal on the boat.

I have done my homework lads, there's pub food near the dock if you want to eat before getting on the boat, probably boat prices too:scream:,i will post details for you. . If you are leaving at 3pm from the services , I will need to cover 240 km without stopping , my ferry leaves at 8 pm and gets into Rotterdam half hour before your boat, yours must have brought their sat nav from Del boy:rolleyes::D

Happy to go with the flow. Fish and chips would probably be better than a P&O meal though.
