I also signed up just the other day, for the Sussex ride.
A similar situation lead me to motorbikes, enjoy the ride, somehow it helps.

I'm in for the Solent one - fifth time, love it!

 

I’ve registered, put down Guildford, had to put something down to register, but can’t find anything about the ride as the link on the website doesn’t work. Anybody know anything about the routes? Guildford, West Sussex, Solent?

 

No ride out from Birmingham this year since the last triumph dealership in the county shut up shop.

Signed up to the next nearest at Tamworth. Not too far away.

Its not what cancer does to you, but to friends and family. I, and I alone, carry this burden by myself. The nurse who treats me, says she has never in all years of treating people such as myself, meet anyone apart from me who goes through the treatment with such strength of mind and still turns up for the treatment, (believe me its crap and makes you feel like crap) with such a defiant attitude to cancer. Diagnosed with prostrate cancer earlier this year and hoping that the treatment and effects will allow me to participate

I can't see any other ride details as it only lets you see the ride that you registered for.

 

I just signed up for the Calgary AB Canada ride. A great cause and I am glad to support it with some time and some cash. Plus it is always nice to meet up with some new riders.

 

I’m also taking part again this year, this time in Victoria, Vancouver island, where I live. There wasn’t a ride here last year so I took part in the Vancouver ride, on the mainland, which was amazing. I’m proud to say I was the highest fundraiser for Vancouver last year and also got a DGR Hedon helmet, which I’ll be wearing on this years ride. My father died because of prostate cancer, my cousin, here, lost his battle just a few weeks ago and he was my main riding buddy, so it’s going to be an emotional day. Fuck cancer.

 

I too know the pain of losing someone close due to this insidious disease called cancer. Maybe this can ease your pain.
