    Hi All ,

today dealer did the software update (around 1/2 h) then activated the
Quickshifter in the setting "it must be activated"
The calibration is automatic , simply ride and stay minimum 10 sec for each gear.
the result is incredibly, smooth in up and down speed gear , no need to be in high RPM , not mechanical noise or chock
I am very satisfied I really like it :)

I too have a brand new RS to play with and the shift assist caused me some issues the same as you have mentioned. I think it’s because I was over thinking it a bit. I’ve now done 1300 miles and I’m getting used to the shifter/blipped, sometimes I get it bang on, the ups are easier than the downs I find. It is very good when I get it right? So I would say don’t worry, just keep chipping away at it and you will get sussed soon. Works best down the way on a closed throttle. Lovely smooth gearbox, and fantastic when you get the shift assist working well!

I to have gotten used to mine, don't use it under 4k and it's very smooth, up or down
If you disconnect the battery, like I did the other night to connect up some power for my satnav, remember to go back into the bike set-up menu to turn it back on.....

Having mine fitted as I type during it's 500 mile service. The mirrors on mine already blur at certain revs :)

The mirrors on mine blur a bit as well, at about 90mph I see blue flashing blur appear, but when I continue to accelerate this disappears? Anyone an ideas as to what might be causing this? Its quite annoying?

Are they charging £310 for it, looks like it’s just a Translogic rod with sensor?

You can turn the quick shifter on and off via the on screen menu under bike set up

If you go into setup it will be in the list alongside indicator options etc if software has been installed

Happy with mine going up the gears, but not sure about going down. It doesn't have an auto blipper so I'm not sure if it is doing it any good going down the gears. What are other people's opinions?

If it's an RS and has the RS Triumph QS fitted, it's got an auto blipper :)

I will have to listen out for the auto blipping. I haven't picked upon it yet, Away for the weekend so will get plenty of opportunity

If it's not blipping, then you might want to check if Shift Assist is turned on in the screen menus.

You must close the throttle of when using blipper to go down the box and keep it open going up !! should work fine.

If not get back to your triumph dealer for a new or modified blipper before it destroys your gearbox especially if you're hitting false neutrals
