Fitted new indicators

Bought a some carbon look iridescent mini indicator yesterday and got straight to fitting them, front was easy, back wasn't too bad but had totake rear fairing off to get access to the back and wires.
Loving the new look and the size difference lol

Cheers stu, I'm going to go with the clear led tail light too, won't be using the indicator function on it though as I don't fancy getting pulled lol

 

Make sure you keep all the original parts as the bikes sell better if they are standard

Looks nice mate, I actually just ordered some new Ones for my Daytona, first the flush mounted ones but they dont seem to wanna work, they flash really fast like there is a bulb missing? so that was a waste of 5 Quid lol.

Then I got some more traditional replacements which I will fit this week, probably wasn't a great idea for the flush mounted Ones, as not sure if they would be visable enough anyway!

Also got a new clear integrated tail light coming next week, so I was confused as to your comment on getting pulled over for connecting the indicators on that????

Hi mate, the reason probably for the fast flashing is that they are LEDs and you need to fit a resistor inline on your indicator wires to slow the flash down.
With the clear rear taillight with the built in indicators it's against the law to have the indicator bit on in the taillight, I'm pretty sure that you don't have to wire it in though.
Get some pics up of the bike bud when it's done

Well the rear light still not here yet, but the new tiny indicators arrived, and they too need resisters lol, so I ordered 4 off ebay - I am going to fit the flush mounted Ones on the front, and the tiny Ones on the back, still not sure if I can (or will) connect the indicators in the rear light, but will post here when they are all fitted ;-)

bearing in mind the flush mounted LED's were about 5.00 Quid, and the tiny Ones for the back were only just under 3.00 Quid, the rear light was 30.00 Quid! and then the resisters were another 4.00 quid.

So all in, the transformation will cost me just over 40.00 Quid, not a bad deal IMHO (considering a new set of clear lenses are 30.00 Quid!!!!!!)

So here is the new Clear rear Light, and the mini LED Indicators, Not sure about the front Flush mount Ones, might change them to be the same as the rear ones ;-)

All told, 40 Quid and an hours work
