Many apologies @chiari1 I am totally wrong as usual. There is no CL in Llanidloes, not that I ever doubted you, it's just that I saw my Welsh mate yesterday and he tried to give me a lesson in Welsh. In particular, how to pronounce the "LL". Needless to say, after two attempts, I gave up so I will continue to speak only bollocks and french from now on.

 

@Dozers Dad Don't forget to fill the cool box in your boot with ice cubes mate. Better get making them now.

 

That's all well and good mate, but what we gonna do while we wait for those to freeze up? People could die of thirst you know, or at least be dying for a well cold drink.

 

Bugger, forget the ice cubes then mate. Stick some tins of beer, lager and cider in the fridge in you boot mate. Pimms and G&T's will have to wait till tea time.

 

Just open a few cans and let the beer go flat then that’s you southerners sorted for drinks, warm and flat

Yes I know what you mean. I helped him cook Sunday nights tea on the recent Scottish Tour. Talk about tight ! Everything was done on the cheap cheap cheap. Even the teabags were what he had used at home, dried, and re-packed in the original box.

 

Dont mention tea bags, to late, sit back, and wait, its coming

 

@Rich Bryce went home with an almost full box ( about 1000 ) from the Scottish Tour. fingers crossed he has room on the smaller bike for the Bramble Jam hes been looking after.
