I have a Black 2016 Speed Triple S that if left sitting in hot sun for any time is difficult to start. Acts as though its flooded. Cranks over fine, and tries to fire, but wont idle. To get in running it needs some throttle and a few moments of partial throttle, then it is fine. Park it in the shade or garage and its fine.
    Any suggestions welcome.

Possible air lock in the system somewhere caused by the heat/sunshine?
Clutching at straws, I know, but all I can think of at the moment.

Sounds a bit like the engine temp sensor is reading the engine as warm due to the heat and not adjusting the fuelling to correct for a cold start situation.

At Triumph day at the Ace Cafe yesterday almost every other bike (mine included) had a little trouble starting. It was blistering hot, everyone's bike would start but would then die if not given plenty of throttle. At first I just thought everyone was trying to rev their engines the loudest. Wasn't until I jumped on mine and tried to start it that I realised what was going on!
