Tiger 800 Stalling and starting prob

Ok awesome thanks for the pointers! I ended doing it tonight. Man all that plastic is a pain lol. What’d you use for lube? I just sprayed the crap out of the stepper motor shaft with contact cleaner. Do you think a white lithium grease would work? Also as I reassembled everything I noticed you can see the stepper motor and shaft from the right hand side of the motor when it’s on the kick stand.

 

Cleaning the stepper motor shaft is good, but don't lube it or you'll just trap dust and crap on it.

 

Ok sounds good I won’t add anything to it.
