Defo a Sparrow Hawk. Last year I had one decimate the swallows in my garage.....probably because I released it three times.

Very pleasant walk this morning in the country park opposite our home. Then off to the barbers for summer haircut

Sorry to hear this news. Dogs and the owners that they are destined to be with will always give each other the affection that they need at just the right times. They 'touch' our lives, and we never forget them because they are such great companions. You made the right choices for him.

That's a true love story, he was very luck to get you, and you him.
RIP Trigger, you will never be forgotten.
People who abuse animals deserve a bloody good kicking, no excuses, thank god that he was found and had the real life he deserved.
    Vets are not always right!

Really sorry to hear of your sad news, it is very difficult when they pass away but try and take comfort from the many years of joy and companionship you all enjoyed with Trigger.

    Best wishes.

Hi Chiari, very saddened to hear your sad news today. Hope your Father in law pulls through well.

As for Trigger, well it sounds like he found a loving home with you guys so at least you could say he was blessed, and so were you, being able to spend lots of time with him.

    Rest In Peace Trigger.

Losing a faithful dog is always painful. I still miss mine after 23 years FFS! Not easy.
Best wishes to your father in law. Hope he makes a full recovery.

Reading these does make me appreciate my four year old puppy even more.

She is currently making memories with my daughter, hiding in her bedroom.
Being a border collie she is sensitive to sound and when there is thunder he place of refuge is in the small gap next to my daughter's bed - no where else in the whole house will do and she only goes there when it thunders.

Hi Biglad, he is just coming up to 9 months old and 'character' is one way of describing him! Never a dull moment, he is an expert tool thief, if I put anything down whilst doing a job he's gone with it, sometimes takes days to find!

To be fair eating is his favourite thing so beaches, settee, garden is all the same to him, his other impressions include Raffles the expert thief!
