Mileage sounds about right, Jez. I put 16ltrs in the other day after around 150 miles - actually filled it higher than previously so the actual amount of fuel used will have been nearer to 14-15ltrs at a guess. Possibly a bit better mpg than mine as those miles I covered involved a 2 up run to Lincoln with added motorway running and a fairly strong breeze.
T'owd bugger can still get a move on when required ..... fnaaarrr fnaaarrr!!:grinning:

Just found a calculator .... mpg very similar, so all seems good!

When we've been on holiday in France on the bike (loaded top box, panniers, tank bag, SWMBO:heart: on the back and a fat bastid:p up front) we would usually fuel up around the 150 - 180 miles mark with the petrol warning light just starting to do its job. Using autoroutes this usually meant a stop after about 80 miles or so for a fag and a drink with the next stop involving the same again plus fuel/food/coffee/toilet etc. (Ill health has meant that both of us have given up the fags over the last few years - couldn't afford it now anyway!:() Never yet used reserve!
The above system of riding and breaks plus the comfort of the bike made long hauls (up to around 500 miles per day) pretty easy, even if French autoroutes do get a bit boring and expensive: unamused:. Serve a purpose though.

Would that be a boa constrictor that’s just consumed the opposition in a pie eating race?

loaded the map and took the baffle out then took her for a spin, in two minds, one minute she sounds great and the next she sounds like someone has removed a baffle, did take the baffle with me to try with it in but the barsteward was having none of it.
Quieter than the preds for sure apart from the deceleration and open up bark. Methinks I might have to go with baffle in with a few more holes or just put the preds back on just to annoy @littleade

I think the owners of the Range Rover might not be thinking it was the best place to park when they return! :D

You could try shortening the baffle rather than putting more holes in it

I got rid of the big standard indicators and mounting brackets and fitted some tidy LED units above the number plate...
