Well what seems like an eternity I have been on the hunt for a Daytona 675 to meet all my requirements of budget, mileage, colour etc.

But I can now proudly say as of Sunday I will be a Triumph Daytona owner. I have hunted for well over a year now and let countless bikes pass me by as I did not have the funds available at the time. This one came a little too early to my funds I will also say, but you know you are only young once.

Cannot put into words how excited I am to pick this beauty up Sunday and undertake a 280 mile round trip

Enough words now anyways and time for a photo, this is the only photo which I have as the bike has now been taken down off the internet so cannot gather anymore photos until Sunday.

Cannot wait to get the bike home, cleaned and a thorough going over :yum

She currently sits at just under 12,000 miles.

Yeah the dealership informed me it has had its 12,000 miles service, they are a triumph dealer too so lucky in that retrospect :)

Woods at Abergele have been Triumph dealers for a good few years now, so should (hopefully) be ok to deal with.
Maybe our paths will cross in the near future. At least I should see you coming with that there beastie!!:scream:

I want to get the thing home as soon as possible and take her round to show off :joy: But I do think a Mcdonald's breakfast is on the cards for the early set off.

Luckily I have a brother who works in the trade and can source Triumph parts so she will be getting serviced there with some extreme TLC.

I hope our paths do pass I am sure you will not be able to miss me with the colour scheme :joy: Have to come over and say hello if our paths cross.

I wonder if Triumph would consider a Daytona using the 1050 engine:p

Sunday is looking ok weather wise, have you got a route planned for the return? I know it’s 120 miles but I’d be looking for some nice roads avoiding motorways, into north Cheshire,Cat and Fiddle pass (speed camera controlled 50 limit but still fun) Woodhead pass etc????. Either way have fun, bike looks awesome.
