Shame you had a poor experience. If you ever need a part number ring Woburn and ask for me.

that's bollocks service they should give decent customer service whether its a ten grand bike or a ten pound part,i contacted scorpion exhausts for spares twice and service top notch 2 days after phone call received parts.

I was in Triumph Chesterfield last Friday, and to be honest they seem to be under staffed. It was extremely busy and everyone there was running round like mad things. Also the phones were ringing constantly.

I had to wait ages until someone was free to speak to me.

Being told you’ll be called back and it not happening is THE worst and most annoying thing ever in my opinion.
On a separate, but kind of linked issue, I was at Triumph Chesterfield on Saturday for the TFEST open day and was seriously under whelmed, anyone else go there.

I really can't comment on other specific Triumph Dealership. But if you have real concerns about customer service standards please do contact Triumph via the website.

I too have been in to other dealerships where I've walked out after quite some time without being spoken to by anyone on the staff. At Woburn we deem it unforgivable unless the place is obviously rammed. I know we try really hard to give first class service at Woburn. Blimey, that's part of my job. I've spend sooooo many hours making a brew for strangers who become new friends. Anyone who walks in is usually approached by one of us within a minute if not as they enter the door. Admittedly we don't always succeed on a busy Saturday, but it's at the front of everyone's mind.

Basically, engage with the visitor, try and get them on a demo cos there is a direct correlation between demo rides and bike sales. It's not everyone who walks in who is already a committed buyer. Often they need warming up. It's bike business basics really.

I have a year old T100. It recently developed a coolant leak and I have to say that I was very pleased with the workshop at my local Triumph dealer (Long Eaton). The work was covered under warranty and I had a follow up call from them the day after I had my bike back to check that all was ok (I had been going straight off onto a 160 mile trip). From what I was told of the work they covered in resolving the issue they were being very thorough.

I myself have had two bad dealings with this shop. First time was when i bought my first speedie. It took 6 and a half weeks from me saying yes to me picking it up due to waiting for parts and a dispute with the current owner. All in all not very pleased.
The second time was last week. Iv just bought a new arrow system for my speedie and rang them to see about getting the map changed to suit. Bizzarely the lady over the phone more or less tried to talk me out of it. Saying first of all that theyre full up in the service department til the end of may. Which is a load of crap since it would take about ten to fifteen minutes ro complete. Rang staffordshire triumph... come in anytime be happy to help. Thats what i want and thats where ill use from now on!

Agree. Personally I've not had any problems with my local dealer, Destination Triumph Solent having bought both bikes from there. Last two services on the Tiger were booked in the following week and you get text messages to confirm the date and then to remind you and a final one when the bike is ready. Always get courtesy bikes and they often ask you what you would like and no trouble with test rides - me and crispey last week with the Tigers for over 3 hours.

If it was crap service though, I would have no hesitation in riding over to Three Cross Triumph in the New Forest instead.

I haven't used Destination Triumph Solent, tried to book first service for RS last year (June) and they couldn't fit me in for 5 weeks! I didn't buy bike from them so don't know if that had anything to do with it? I did get a text reminder that the 1st year service was due recently.
Didn't buy it from Three Cross either, but they serviced it on a Saturday within 2 weeks, so as happy with service, this June bike will be done there as well, again a Saturday.

I used to have a really good relationship with Three Cross as I bought a few bikes from them in the nineties and noughties, I then went away from Triumph for a few years, when I went back last year all the guys I knew were gone, I was happy with the service though.

It was interesting though when I was looking to purchase a new RS last year, I took my ST675R to both dealers for PX price and deal, Solent offered me £4000, 3 Cross offered £4500 neither would budge on price of new bike.
So ended up selling my old bike privately for £5300 and buying a 200 mile 2 week old RS privately, saved myself £3100 on the deal that Destination put forward.
