I agree with you, however I'll bet you that viewing figures will go up for the next round as everyone tunes in to see what the repercussions are.
The guy I feel for is Cal Crutchlow as he won but everyone talking about Marquez, must be really infuriating!

    Er.... 3 wins so far?
Think he comes over as arrogant twat when interviewed, but still deserves a bit of credit for getting on the top step.
I find it depressing when you look at the Nationalities of all the riders in all the Moto GP classes that so few are Brits, the grids are packed with Italian and Spanish riders so when we get a victory it is nice to celebrate it.

Remember he is currently leading the world championship, the first time a brit has done this in over 40 years! even though there's a long way to go the guy deserves to be applauded, hopefully he will not crash as much this season:confused: he certainly seems to be much more comfortable on the bike this year

That may be!............. But to be a champ, he needs to work on his (Zero) personality/charisma. At the moment he comes across as a "Real DickHead"

To be a champ he needs to win races.
To be a 'personality' he needs to work on his PR.

Riders like Lawson, Doohan etc didn't do too bad considering they didn't have 'personalities'....:p

As I said I'm not a fan of Crutchlow. He maybe winning the Championship at the moment, thats a long way to run yet, and he has a habit of falling off regularly....................... As they say "Watch this space", I might be eating my words??

    NOT LIKELY THOUGH!;)

No punch up, Uccio just told Marquez and Honda guy to basically ' piss off' ! Rossi wasn't in the pit at the time, in his trailer we are told.
Would have been funny to see Rossi square up and give him a slap, like he did to Max Biaggi. Unfortunately that was the good old days when they got away with that stuff off track.

Why does he need a personality ? He rides a motorbike and entertains us in that way. Don't see why they have to be nice entertaining people as well as riding gods????

Yes he does fall off too much, but the guy is riding way past any limit you or I could get to. He annoys me when he falls off, as I want any British rider to do well, but I still want him to do well.

I even want Zarco to do well, just because he isn't Spanish or Italian, even if he is a CESM, still someone to try and end their domination in recent years. Same in lower classes, nice to see a non-'Spaitalian' winning. Always watch out for Oliveira, just cos he's Portugese.

Satellite teams rely heavily on sponsorship investment. These "gods" as you call them are followed on all forms of media, he just doesn't want to make you like him! Doesn't sell well;) Just my view!

I always think, what would I be like in the same position?

I'd probably be an even bigger twat that Cal, tbh.:cool:
