I helped my big sister collect bun pennies......but she kept them......and still has them.......hundreds of them. I didn’t even get to keep the farthings

 

I only had half farthings in my pocket when I were a lad

 

I used to steal these from my kids when they were little!
Far too good to waste on children.

If you still fancy a dip in an art-deco unheated outdoor swimming pool there's one at Penzance. You'll have to be quick though, they're drilling a borehole as we speak to use as a ground source heat pump to heat the water. I'm wondering what heated sea water is going to smell like.
