If they come this week I’ll fit them straight away and hopefully get out on the bike at the weekend :)
    Weather dependant

These just arrived at work :)
They look/feel like like a quality product :)
    BLACK  springs
They are a lot lighter than the Triumph ones
Will fit them tonight and hopefully get out for a ride this weekend depending on the weather
If not maybe the Scottish bike show next weekend :) 28478A81-9A30-401B-8DC8-41EE371E1C82.jpeg

    That was easy :grinning:
Now it’s gonna be trial and error to set the pre-load
Unlike the triumph ones which are the stepped/twist type these shocks have a fine thread and ring for the adjustment and are then locked in place with a grub screw :)
I’ve set them soft to start with and will see what it’s like on the road and adjust as needed :p A67222BE-ADEE-431B-8B9C-D46E171A6DF6.jpeg

My mono was one full turn + 2 stone. they came from the factory set to 14 stone. Do you know where yours are set, and how much turn = what weight

    Dunno mate
Nothing in destruction’s to indicate the turns to weight ratio
The shocks arrived with the lock rings loose and the springs loose
I tightened them enough to nip the springs but there’s loads of adjustment left on the threaded shaft :)
So a nice road test is needed where I’ll find a shitty surface (easy) and I’ll have a play about with them until I’m happy :grinning:
    Hopefully

Set it too the softest setting first then set it to the firmest setting then you will have a good idea on which direction you want to go!

Well I managed to get out on my BPOS today and I can honestly say that these are a massive improvement over the Triumph shocks :)
Did about 40miles (bloody freezing o_O) and aimed at every pot hole I seen
A firm but smoother ride is the best way I can describe them :)
Never got that shock up my spine like I did with the triumph units:grinning:
Have them set up on the soft side and I’m happy to leave them as is for the time being :)
Will know better after a proper day out but if they perform like this on a long ride then I’ll just leave them and only adjust if I’m carrying a pillion or loads of beer :p
Oh yeah...our roads are feckin CRAP
