after 12 months without a bike ( sold last one to buy wife a car...aaahh) have invested in a rolling restoration/summer toy, as tinkering is all part of the fun apparently.
will be asking for lots of advice in the comings moths/years as I am only a basic mechanic.

Welcome to the forum, is your bike the 900 with the square headlight (Grey)

The best thing about these bikes is that alot of parts on the modular frame Triumphs are interchangeable.

If have a look at a post I put on the parts forum there is a good couple of links for spare parts guys that specialise in Triumph parts.

    Cheers

    Steve

its a 900 square headlighted model in metallic racing green complete with triumph branded GIVI 3 box luggage system. I dont think it has been cleaned for 5 years as I have spent a good few hours cleaning and it now looks like my old bikes used to look if I didnt clean them!. plan is to ride it over summer then SORN it for winter fun (?) in the garage. From what I have initially found out this model runs upto 1995? so as stated re the modular design most items 1991- 95 for 750-900-1200 may fit.

Been looking on forum and unless I've missed it there doesn't seem to be a place for old hinckley classics. The trophy page seems to be for the newest model. Which lets face it, Is light years away from my 1992 model.

Sorry, T but my part of the fun is pressing the 'GO' button and thrashing the bejeezus out of it, but if that's what you enjoy (and let's face it - many do) then I hope you love your new purchase. Welcome to the forum by the way. welcome.gif
