I currently own a 2013 BMW K1600 and a cafe’d R75/6. While the K bike is a beast on the highway I prefer the retro airhead for local rides. Looking hard at the T120, researching build problems. You Tube video mentioned squealing front brakes, leaking head lamps and leaking instrument clusters. Can anyone confirm that these are real issues and/or add new common ones. Long live forums!
I believe all these problems are no longer an issue with the 2018 models. They get a complete new wheel design and there hasn’t been an instrument or headlamp weep for some time as far as I’m aware. The main problem with the non black engine models is keeping them looking tidy. Brushed bare alloy is not the best finish for everyday use.
