If you were to give it a right good clean up and get it MOT'd then it would more than likely be worth well into the low four figure bracket instead of a mid three figure sum. That is a bit of a generalisation, obviously, as it is hard to say with any accuracy without seeing it before and after. I saw one advertised recently - a '96 with 57,000 miles on the clock and in good condition (apparently!) - for around the £2,250 mark if memory serves (all figures approximate!). You could be looking at anything between, say, £400 and maybe up to £2,500 but that will be very dependant on condition and how much more work it requires.
But at least it runs which is a GOOD THING!
And in a few weeks it will be a better time to sell, which gives you time to prepare it for sale.
    Good luck with it.

[IMG] My trident much modified from 1st batch. I have been offered 5k but turned it down, so yes big variations in price all dependant on condition

I got £1200.00 for mine with a full service history and receipts plus 12 months MOT.
People say that they are appreciating classics but are not yet willing to pay the money!

Ok toay i poped into fastline superbikes in preston were the bike was originally sold
And gary the owner still remembers!!!!

What happened was there was a earthquake at the kawasaki factory late 90s and part of the glass roof calapsed in and a few supporting beams

Now gary bidded though a insurance write of scheme and won
    30 bikes
When he got there the trident and a Bonneville were there
They had be used for measurements of frames rake angles and thickness
    For a 650 cruiser
Gary got it back and registered it then sold it to my old co worker kevin tearle

    Hi Jeppo,
Ive enjoyed the banter on this one lol.

Shame Gary at Fastline does not have paperwork/photo`s (so he bought 30 bikes blind??)of it being at Kawasaki`s plant as proof for you. No surprise it was there at all & I'm sure more will have followed.

To me its a £500er that needs a total strip. If you pushed the issue & wrote to Kawasaki & if your very lucky they turned up photo`s of it then you might be on to something?

Good luck with your sale mate.
