It don't need top be an R its just every one wants there to be personalised. it's why we all spend the wife's shopping money of carbon fiber, chrome and other bling..
I was looking to get the S1000rr naked but they delayed the launch and as soon as i saw the Dark for 200 more than the standard R it was a no brainer.. hoping as it is limited it will hold its value a bit more...

Glad they delayed the S1000rr otherwise we'd of lost another enthusiast to German manufacturer who produces a bike which all you have to do is pull yer leathers n helmet on, put the key in the ignition, climb on board and point it and the bike does the rest.... Nah not for me, you did the right thing, you know that.... :upyeah:

I'm also hoping I did the right thing... Not had chance to ride it much to even get an impression...

I do like those GPZ900's, not quite as handsome as a Z1, but still bloody gorgeous.

SB, Jim, you're both right - I did mean 'Hammer House of Horror'. My Grandad told me about it! Actually I'm fifty bloody three today (going on twenty two). Just having a little sip on the ol' JD (no, still not you, Jim) to celebrate/commiserate. I'm off work due to a little embarrassing 'getting my leg stuck in a cattle grid in the snow and having to get the fire brigade out to release me' incident and taking full advantage. :upyeah:
