Hello, l'm originally from Bolton, Lancashire, UK but now live in the USA in the State of Missouri. Best way to describe my local area (to the Brits who've been there!) is to say it's like the Lake District with over 300 days of sunshine a year, perfectly surfaced roads, very little traffic, & no speed cops/cameras. Oh, BTW, as you will see from the attached photos, l ride a 2013 Triumph Tiger 800ABS roadie.
Did you ever go to the Mop / weavers arms off Halliwell rd , I know Bolton really well ,used to live on Morris Green lane

Welcome. We have similar lives. I am from the UK and live in Missouri. East Kansas City. Your photo looks like Longview lake?
Hey Pete, l also used to live near to Morris Green lane & once got banned from the Morris Dancers pub for dropping our pants at the bar! Yes l've been in the Mop, but I wasn't a regular in there. https://whatpub.com/pubs/BOL/181/weavers-arms-bolton
It's Table Rock Lake outside Branson & we're only 30mls from the northern State line with Arkansas........And Arkansas is bikers heaven BTW!!! https://www.arkansas.com/motorcycling/on-road/
Hi BritMick, since we last spoke on another forum about bikes and pickled pigs feet I have done some "sport touring" mods to my Thrux R. You'll notice the Union Jack tank pads proving that though an American I do love most things British minus those roads meant for one car and steering wheels on the wrong side
If you hadn't told me I wouldn't have noticed them in the small photo! They look good, & not too offensive for your everyday *American bigot!! *I wasn't referring to you BTW, just those over here who ask dumb questions like "why do you display that Brit flag all over your bike?" Or, "what's wrong with the 'mercun flag dude?" etc, etc.
Thanks for recognizing I'm not your every day bigot, but special and if you look even closer you'll see that the saddle bags are German and everyone knows what that means
