You see some cars with Sat nav, I phone and camera all on the windscreen WTF is all that about. It seems information overload but totally obscures vision

Each state has a Bikie Task force of some sort, they tag along whenever one of the main four gangs moves on mass, WA has a force of up to 30 special officers , they are equipped with trucks trailers and caravans with satellite communication equipment. They are empowered to act across borders too, normally this isn't the case !! When the commanchero's , coffin cheater's , hells angels and Mongols to name the main 4 travel in large numbers, they are shadowed by the task force until they return to home territory.

Items hanging from mirror obscuring view was an MOT failure, don't know if still is, if so, surely sat navs, phones etc must be placed in the same category, in my humble opinion

Yes they can. And all that shite that builders leave in the windscreen on the dash can earn you an immediate prohibition from moving (till it’s cleared, obviously)

I've just watched that footage 3 times and I'm wondering why the wobble then the ploughing! Looking at the bend/kink what was the problem? did he hit something maybe get a puncture I ask. Yes I know he was doing nearly double the speed limit, personally I think he's been riding way beyond his ability but that's only my opinion.
He's had his fingers burnt now so he'll learn hope he isn't hurt and thankfully nobody else was hurt.
    Cheers, Pete.

Agree, the fact that the council have spent hundreds of pounds writing SLOW on the road. That might have been a clue of what was coming up. Add that to the fact that I think he was attempting to catch the rider in front, riding outside his comfort zone. I think he started to attempt the corner & bottled it. Hedge 1: Ego 0:

That feckin spray on glue they sell as no flung chain lube!!!
What a bloody mess it makes, every bike I buy I know I am going to have to remove sprocket cover and clean that shit up:tired_face:
Hate the stuff, don't believe it even lubricates that well either. :expressionless:
Oil, put oil on your chain, will clean and lubricate it, wipe it clean, put more oil on. Basic maintenance you lazy spray glue twats. :confounded:

Yes I do remember those stickers.
They were sometimes done like a triangular flag & some clever motorists would arrange them so they made a big circle of where they'd been to for their holidays in the old A35!!!!

Things really have moved on haven't they. Electronic controlled ignition & injection, major leaps forward. Then of course you have all the safety advances

Vauxhall Viva, Simca, Datsun 120y, Fiat 127, Fiat Strada, Mirafiori, followed by an stay of Ford Capri. Some may say - thank heavens that cars have changed, but they have lost character..

Totally agree, no soul. Apart from perhaps some Italian or French. Wouldn't own one though, they spend more time in the repairers than on the road

If you change soul for character!?
They are not sexy, not eyecatching, not neckbreaking and definitely not ‚en vogue‘.
But any Subaru is a trustworthy companion who would not let you down and gets you through thick and thin, come what may.
It sounds funny, but Subaru in my eyes is essentially a typically German company. ;)
It holds true to quite a few of the traditional pre-war values.
Oh, and I forgot: they have NO humor o_O

PS: If Subaru were breeding dogs?
    German shepherds... :yum
