    Guys,

Did an R&R on my 98 Sprint Exec Carbs. Cleaned it all out and made sure to put the jets in the same order while cleaning.

All my pilots are 38. The strange thing is one of my outer carbs is running a 115 main when the other two are 120 mains.

Is this normal in triple carb setups to run different mains that don't match?

    Thanks in advance,
    Leo

Its usually the middle carb that runs a bit richer to stop it running a bit hot .

Thanks for that, but the 115 is leaner on one of the outer carbs. Should I keep it the way it is or grab a 120 and make them all the same or a 115 for the other outer carb?

A lot depends on the current set up of the bike, is it std as it left the factory ?

Has it aftermarket headers or silencers ? This may be the reason for non std layout of main jets

What carbs are fitted to your bike ( there are 6 different sets, 4 mikuni & 2 Kehin ) identified by the make and type number on the side of the carbs.

If you then use the WOT site link below it will tell you what was fitted as std.

Bike looks stock to me. It's a new to me bike. It looks like it may have an aftermarket air filter in the box but that's about it. I may just put it back the way I took it out. I'm good with single carbs, but triples are new to me.

    FYI, they are Keihins
