I have made some of the same mods to my bike and relocating the ignition switch was one of the best-OK so it makes no difference to the running of the bike but it used to annoy the hell out of me just seeing the keyring flapping around at motorway speeds! I only found out afterwards that some bikes have been stolen when moped riders have pulled up alongside Bonnies at traffic lights then nicked the key and ridden off with it then if the rightful owner has left it unattended to arrange recovery or anything they have returned and ridden off with the bike!

Just an observation but the state of the exhaust port does not indicate rich running to me. Old farts (like what I am) would have expected a light grey colour from deposited lead salts in the fuel. Modern fuels run light black. If you were running rich I would be less concerned about colour than depth of carbon deposit and how recently it had had a good run at out of town speeds.
My eye says fuelling is about right but the best gauge is the plug itself. You should hopefully have a light brown ring at the base of the ceramic electrode insulator inside the threaded plug body.

From the video I watched about removing AIS, it looks like they re-positioned the coil at some point from above the engine to just behind the headstock?

    Next was the FI caps.

The before and after look can be seen in the AIS photos above.

    Ah nope !
It's the only way to get to the swing arm mount points for the skylift.
Been looking at after market ones but most of them are decorative and would let a snapped chain take a nice chunk out of the crankcases if it let go.
I have seen a Motone one but it's fairly expensive and I'm not sure about the 'ribbed' look...:p

Funnily enough I've just found a second hand one on Ebay, which I was thinking I'll buy to try cutting out the bulge area and see what it looks like.
Have you got any pics of yours ?

Did you use a resistor in place of the air pump or just leave it in place to put the engine management light out,
other method which I did was to remap using Tune Ecu with a saved map tick out of the box for SAI then you can do away with the little black air pump.

I just left the pump in place.
I keep meaning to play with TuneEcu but haven't got round to it yet.
Something else to keep me busy in the garage :D

Only just managed to get the
Bonnie back in the garage for more work.

Started with a couple of easy bits, new choke knob and new oil filler cap.

Got hold of a Cranberry Red mudguard in as new conditionfor £50 from Ebay.
    Fitted that today as well.
I think it looks better but not sure with the black on the seat/rack?

Also a slight issue with the reflector mount being different (hence the holes at the bottom) but I'll soon sort it out.

I like it, red goes well with the black on the seat / rack set up.
