So, spent an hour this morning puzzling out how to fit Oxford throwovers to the T100. NOT the neatest job but they came with the bike, and I was missing having some bags. .

We find by experiment that one Oxford throwover is equivalent to 4 x bottles of beer in a cardboard carrier plus 1 x big bottle of squash, or 8 x bottles of beer and 1 x squash. Puts the weight a bit high, but hey-ho.

Revamped footrests are going well. Checked tyre pressures, no issues. Bike gave no collywobbles this morning on the greasy, salty roads so THAT seems to be solved. No visible corrosion although it’s probably (definitely) due for a good clean.

    Press on!

Interesting to hear about your panniers.
I am wanting to get some and am very close to buying a set of SW Motech Blaze, pricey I think, but look to be a good allrounder with easy on off functionality

I wouldn’t have bought the Oxfords, they are clearly intended for a more modern-styled machine, but they are doing the job for now. Perhaps when I’ve fully made up my mind about this bike, it might be time for a pair of Craven Comets..
