To Seal Or Not To Seal

I would always use sealant if you've got it in stock, to ensure a good gas-tight seal. I use black silicone stuff as it stays supple but is easy to clean off.

 

As said should seal ok as is, cant hurt to add some sealant if you have available

 

Try it without first. If you need to use sealant then feel free to do so. Mine doesn't seem to need any. Yours might!

 

See how she runs, check the colour of the plugs after a few runs and go from there.

 

Depends what year? If your 2012 onwards they all use the standard map, no need to get new one. Took mine, 2013, to dealer, so did pal with an 2014 LT and both told the same.
