Here's my summer only ride, it's a 2000 model that I have owned since 2006. I have modified lots on the bike.
Re-worked forks, Nitron rear shock and different linkage. Ohlins steering damper, open air box mod, K&N, PC3, Sato rearsets (makes the back brake work properly)
I've done a bunch of trackdays on it, also lived in the IOM for a couple of years, so it got some 'hard' miles around the mountain course (like ya do)
Not everyone's cup of tea, but I love it. My neighbours... possibly not :D

Cheers, I love it. It literally makes me laugh out loud riding it.
A bit of a killer on a long run, but I don't find it too bad. I've had it loaded up with soft panniers and tank bag etc, camping, commuting (30mins vs 45 mins in the car..) It's a keeper

You might find it’ll last longer if you park it at the side of the road

Ha! I like living dangerously. In my defence, this pic was planned carefully and taken at 0445 in the morning last June.

They used to have them at knockhill :)
I got a track day on one for my 40th birthday :p
Thought I was Rossi and absolutely loved it
When I seen the video of myself that a friend had made I looked like a learner on an icy day :(
Hell of an experience though :p

Hi Rob think you better check your highway code as you can't cross two solid white line's :p:rolleyes:

Ha, I've never had a lot of respect for the highway code to be fair.. I consider it 'advisory' :D

Thanks dude, I identified the spot for the pic and waited months for the right time of year/weather and the ability to get up stooped early enough to pull it off. This pic and the bike was featured in 'Performance Bikes' a couple of months ago

My first Aprilia was a Falco, it was a great bike, quick and versatile. Unfortunately written off by a Spaz on a roundabout...

I had an RST new from DK's, best of both worlds, take off the panniers and re-set the suspension both end and you have a sports bike, put panniers back on and a tourer, lovely bike, vastly underated at the time and not a big seller, less than 50 left in the UK now, loved the sound of the induction when opened up!:D:grinning::laughing:

Nice bike, had a red 2003 RSV new in 03 and it was awesome, the RSV's are surprisingly good for long trips though I probably wouldn't think the same nowadays. Got a Tuono 1000 now for fun but it feels "old" in comparison to my 2017 Speed TripleR, still a fast and crazy bike though

A mate of mine had a Futura recently, nice bike, considered getting it from him as a 2nd bike.

Tuono's rock. I find my RSV ok on a long run, I'm 6' tall, so it is one of few sportsbikes that fit me well, always found Jap 4's a little small. I've had 3 Aprilia's on the trot, love em. I like the fact that they are 'different' to the herd

Here is a photo of one of my past bikes I loved this machine. If truth be known I fully regret selling it.
