Can't say mate but he'll travel the length and breadth of the country just to make a quick buck
Sometimes he'll be gone for days/weeks at a time...tarmacing drives for old people and cleaning out their guttering :p
Then after making a mess of the local football pitch or Sainsbury's car park he disappears with wads of cash and a newly acquired motorcycle
    Sound familiar???:p
Be warned  I think he's grooming some of the older forum inmates :p

Luckily I’m the right side of the 1950s, or I might end up being groomed... eek!

See you've put your bike in the for sale thread  be careful mate....that's how he makes the initial contact
Of course you might want your driveway doing

Hi Davie, the mention of 'grease' in this thread could well be misconstrued - see above.

In the last few days I got a mechanic mate of mine to change the throttle cables on my trusty 3 year old Tiger 800. I never realised what a long drawn out job it was????? Whilst I watched & waited I changed the clutch cable too. Certainly the easier of the two jobs. it wasn`t as if the cable(s) had broke & they certainly wasn`t dry of lubrication as I always keep em lubed with 3 in 1 oil, but after 3 years & some 24,000 miles the throttle had become tighter to twist. The result of all new cables whether overkill or not is certainly measurable & smoothness has returned to both throttle & clutch action so I`m glad I have had the job done. Next I think the chain & sprockets need looking at after 24,000 miles of good service.

So I got 2 days off and was looking at finishing the bike and possibly taking a test run then the weather happened

60 mph wind rain hail and 1 to 2 degrees.
I might have to eat crisps and watch films.
