Pulled the right side of the fairing off in yet another attempt to sort out the front brake hose fouling the instrument harness. The fairing was fitted by the dealer and I think they should have sorted this but it is a hassle to get the bike back to them so I just keep chipping away at it. This time I have added a 10mm spacer to the kit spacer so the instruments are lower and the harness has a little more slack. The brake hose rubs against the base of the instruments but I dare not slacken the brake banjo in case I get air in the system! While doing this I discovered that the clutch cable outer is getting damaged from fouling against the tank If its not one thing....! 20171027_110637.jpg 20171027_110651.jpg

Being from Tennessee I may be able to procure the right amount of JD or the fancy homemade stuff to make just about anything happen. Only problem is remembering a damn thing...

A friend and I had our bikes cleaned and protected with ACF-50 last weekend in preparation for the winter.
We called on the professional service of these guys http://allyearbiker.co.uk/ I have used them before and I was impressed with the results again this time

That would be easy to sort sat nav up on the handlebars. Set tank range to 20-30 miles less than actual max range.
Sat nav does all the nagging for both speed and you are getting low on petrol :)

I finally got to look at my forks today after nearly 2 weeks.
I had to make a axle 19mm hex key and got the forks out and stripped.I was originally only going to replace the oil, now the bolt snapped I have to replace seals also.
So after about a 1/4 hour of drilling with Dewalt bits and snapping a couple I was down about 4mm I switched to bits I bought cheap ( cant remember where) And they went straight

    Piranha stock up.

I stopped, cos I wanted to ask you, What next?
Do I keep drilling or easy out?

I would drill before using an easy out. It would just depend if it would be impossible to use an easy out later

If you thought you could get an easy out in later. Difficult to see in that picture Jim. If you can continue to drill and still think you could get an easy out in later then drill it.
If you think you wouldnt be able to use an easy out later then maybe the easy out option now would be better.
I prefer drilling rather than easy outs, but that’s just my personal preference
