    It sounds lovely

Totally transformed the bike from a sedate tourer to a fire breathing hooligan machine.

    It immediately had more grunt.

My youtube std vs remus comparison vid

Pretty cool video! From their sound, it seems that they're deep and rich, without being obnoxiously loud. Is that indeed the case?

    Thanks

I certainly wouldnt ride it without ear plugs now but i never ride without them anyway.

When u open it up at 3k+ the sound is out of this world good.

It sounds a lot better than i expected. And the power delivery is like night and day.

Just going on from this and comments on the ‘loud’ thread

These are the other parts I referred to that may indeed be the holy trinity with the X pipe

The filter is ordered so should land next week if the spiel is correct a big boost to airflow.....bit expensive but washable so shouldn’t need replacing for a good while

The booster plug I fitted earlier this year and posted about it even without the other mods it smoothed the response out particularly at lower revs and felt a bit perkier . George at TEC is looking at producing something similar but no timescale as yet.

Plus of course the Remus cans so it’s a holy trinity plus one

It plugs on between the air box air temperature sensor and the ECU (very easy to do) It has its own temperature probe on a short wire which I’ve mounted out of sight under the seat
Basically it modifies the signal going back to make the ECU register an air temperature lower than it actually is and therefore a bit more fuel is injected to enrich the mixture therefore eliminating the lean mixture that helps meet the emissions target.
That’s the theory and it has made a difference

I’ve now fitted the x pipes WOW what a difference to the noise !!! Only had it up and down the drive so far reminds me of my late great mates Commando!

Hopefully the new air filter will land today

Bike sounds fab. I fitted the x pipe from George recently and the bike sounds great. Remus takes it to another level.
One question is the booster plug simple to fix I’m no mechanic

Absolute doddle the instructions explain it very plainly the plug is under the seat and easy to find you simply unplug it and plug the little booster unit's male and female plugs back in then cable tie the sensor

here's a link to the manufacturers page and instructions

Got the x pipe fully fitted yesterday bit of a chew at times but the sound is glorious

Hoping new air filter is about to land then will brave the salty roads and give it a go

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for before venturing into doing exhaust mods on my T120..... Just one question though...

How much where the Remus cans? and where did you get them from?

I'm thinking George at TEC is perhaps missing a trick here?

I reckon they will be on the way considering he’s done X pipes for the Bonnie

I would be tempted to give him a call or email as they may be in the offing. What I’ve seen of his gear is well made and good value.

I'd recommend the X-Pipe to anyone - or the high level exhaust like on my scramblerised Street Twin and the T120 Scrambler we build at Woburn.
