Hi mumbo jumbo.... Welcome to the forum, plenty advice given on here from experienced members I am with dilligaf, you must have been born in the south, it's still t shirt, shorts and flipflop weather in the Northeast Anyway, I might see you up at Hartside in the new year
I've got some Oxford hested grips arriving tomorrow. Looking forward to fitting them and trying them out.

No offence taken, I've seen it and found it very helpful. Thanks for sending it over. My grips arrived this afternoon so I may try putting them onto tonight.
They are now fitted ! Not very difficult especially considering the location of the battery, no need to remove the tank. The longest task was smoothing throttle grip. Probably took me an hour and a half from start to finish. The video on You Tube from Delboys garage was very useful as the instructions arrived in Polish and German. Very quick delivery from Amazon Prime but dodgy instructions.
Try them out tomorrow. The gritters have been out the last couple of nights so I'll be giving it a coat of ACF50 before I venture out. Having said that the build quality looks so good I doubt it'll need it. It was really noticeable the quality of the paintwork and finish compared to a Ducati Monster I had a couple of years ago. The paint on the engine looks brilliant versus the very iffy finish on the Ducati engine. I can't imagine there are many problems with rusty engines on the Triple, this seams to be a problem area for most Ducati's
Hi Welcome to the forum! That's a lovely bike you've got I'm in Durham, I go riding with another couple of guys (one has an R6 and the other rides a Thunderbird), we usually head west into the Durham Dales on nice sunny days (we're definitely 'fair weather' bikers!) - Let me know if you want to join us sometime... Cheers Ian
Thank you, that's great, let me know when you're heading up the dales. I went to Alston, Hartside, Appleby, Barny and home on Saturday nice little 140 miler. Oh I'm captain slow by the way, I have a strong aversion to falling off.
