Some Old Photos

    Thought these may interest a few people, they are my late father on his scramble bikes, According to the notes on the back they are Brill Scramble April 1956, bike is a 350 Ariel, Gloucester Scramble same bike, year unknown, and then Gloucester Scramble on a 1936 250 Triumph.
    No idea if those notes are correct but I do know that they are all my old man :)

    Those are fantastic photos!! Not only nostalgically but technically! Getting the essence of speed and quality from the equipment they had in that era is fantastic

    Glad you like them, I do have a camera that my father owned from just a few years later
    It is rather dented as when he had it for just a few weeks he took it to a scramble, he was marshalling and a rider lost control and ran over my dads stuff - camera included

    Yep great set of pictures. When I was very young until my early teens my dad took me to scrambling meetings. Fond memories of the noise, smell and excitement of very raw motorcycle racing. In the day it was possible to get very close to the action.

    Excellent pictures there Shergar, really enjoyed seeing them. You dad looks to have been a bit of a lad too - tasty rider !!
