Hi all James here I ride a bonneville T100 . Would really like to know if any one has advice about swapping or part exchanging my mag wheels for spoked wheels. Thanks for any advice .

    Hi James, welcome in.

Are you sure you really want to? Mags are so much less hassle.

Hi and welcome. I have to agree with Figwold on the wheels front. I had a w800 with spokes and swapped it for the street twin for the mag wheels. Much easier to keep clean.

Hi James. Welcome from another newbie! Personally, I fully agree with you desire to change out mags to spokes. Yes, there is more work involved with tubes, and truing, and cleaning, but IMO the spokes are beautiful! I'm not knocking mags, just my preference.

Ideally, a bike that is being parted out would be great, however, I think your best chance is finding somebody who wants the mags and do some trading.

    Hope you succeed!

Welcome in James, spokes do look good, but, unless you have lots of patience and hard knuckles;),cleaning is the down side of this classic look.I'm sure you will follow your own thoughts and what ever way you go ....enjoy:sun:
