mixifix , I just bought a Bonneville from a lady in Sheffield , it also has a tank cover on ( see pic ) . I thought it was a paint job when I saw it in the adv . At Akeley Heads ( bike-fest ) in July , I saw a helmet to match it , but none in my size or would that be OTT . bonneville.jpg

Cheers mate , you are right , I may go for a indicator replacement as well , over the winter . bonneville4 - Copy.jpg
I fitted a rack a week or two back . Here`s another pic of it in my workshop , the Tiger mascot didn`t come as standard , it was a good luck charm given to me by the sister-in-law ( don`t ask )

Sporty, stubby levers on a Bonnie? Are you some sort of subversive type?

They're not stubbies, std length but I did like the idea of black levers with just a touch of red. Plus they only cost about 20€ delivered !

The bar end mirrors were the biggest eye-opener though; they are just great - 10€ !

That's alright mate, no problem. I've just been delighted how much kit I was able to buy for really quite small money, to make her MY Bonny.

The Scottoiler works really well on her - no stretched chains; always well lubed without fling lube everywhere.

    Cheers
    Dave

Yes I find it really helps. I'm a bit "heavy" so when going through bends that have a variable level surface the suspension would work hard and move the bars a bit - not terrible but not right either - with the damper (bought for about £45) set at no. 2 or 3 there is no movement and it just feels better.

I'm sorry but I'm not a great lover of the Bonnie but here's one that changed my mind a little:
