Hi all Im looking for a bit of advice here want to change my bars on a mag wheel Bonny se Ive seen the renthal 756 road bars look like they would suit the bike but one thing that bothers me is theres no knurling where they sit in the clamps where knurling is present would they be prone to slip any reccomendations for other bars apreciated.

Cheers for the reply I guess its alloy so whatever knurling is in the riser grips will crush down on the bars I seem to vaguely remember putting some onto a 1200 bandit and they were slightly thicker or raised in the centre boss section could be wrong though

Have a look at the following video on swapping the handlebars on a Bonnie to Renthal bars.

    Definitely bar end mirrors.

I bought a really cheap pair off fleabay for mine, £7.99 inlcuding delivery, to see how I got on with them and i they looked right.

I have since upgraded them to the genuine Triumph bar end mirrors and I love them.

They look nice, I put some lower black bars on my cast wheel bonneville but too low and the bars didn't come round enough so took them off just before the gmu. They made the bike very focused which I liked but too low so i could do with trying your type.

    Hi there
it looks great but for that reason I used low bars not ultra low as theyre almost like flat tracker bars ,those fitted are 754-01 road low from M & P Accessories I paid £31.50 lots on Evilbay

Hi, fitted Renthals to my cast wheel Bonnie. For me they give a better ride position and feel to the bike. They did need careful tightening up tho front and back bolts in equal measure and really tight.
