I've been searching the internet trying to find some louder pipes and so far only found a couple of options on eBay and a set from feked.Com
I've found a review of the feked ones and apparently they're not much louder than the standard ones.
Does anyone have experience of these?
Or a tbs with louder pipes?
Another option I've thought about is to get some made, has anyone had some custom pipes fabricated?

That's the type of place I was thinking, has anyone got experience of a place like this?

Went there with a view to get some stainless welding done on one of my kids motors ......
They were only interested in fabricating a system out of off the shelf pipes and bends as far as I could make out.
    So we left.

However as you are in Sussex why not go and see either of these two?

These people are very respected in the classic world and although the web site is quite basic it is well worth a visit to Bournemouth. He is a really nice chap who prices things favourably.

As I'm looking just for the end cans, not a whole system, would a universal pair be OK?
I'm only after a better sound, not performance gains, but I'm a bit wary of something that's not designed specifically for a particular bike.

Have a ride over to Bournemouth and see what he recommends.

    Hi
I just picked up my 2003 Thunderbird last weekend and it has the 'Browning' silencers fitted to it (that are sold by Feked.com).
I wasn't expecting them to be very loud however I'm really impressed with them, they make a great sound and are MUCH louder than the stock silencers.
My friend has a Thunderbird with the TOR silencers fitted and I'd say the Feked ones are about the same in terms of volume (although it's a slightly different tone), they also make lots of noise on the overrun which I like.
The quality of the silencers also seems very good and for the money (£180 for a pair) I'd say you can't go wrong!
I was planning on replacing the pipes when I bought the bike but I don't think I'll bother now!
    Hope this helps...

    Helps a lot, thank you.
The chap at feked wouldn't give any indication as to the sound difference!
But, like you say, for £180, worth a try.
Mistral exhausts in Italy make them for the later TBS, exhaust either side, and said they've had so many enquires about the early model that they may develop some. So might wait to see if anything comes from that.
