    Hi everyone, just joined...

I am a member of the Triumph Owners Motorcycle Club also..I have a 69' Bonneville which I purchased about a year ago..and have done quite a lot of work on, mainly fixing poorly fitted parts!!! but also two top end rebuilds..so I've had some fun, love the bike...I had a 66 Bonnie when I was about 18 and always hoped one day to get another. I have had all the usual bikes over the years ending a few years ago with a Fireblade and a Pan european, sold them both and 18 months later got my Bonnie!!!! BRILLIANT. Love it

Look forward to reading and perhaps participating in discussions, thanks for having me

    Best wishes
    Paul

Hi Paul, welcome, I'm very interested to hear about your old Bonnie. I totally hear what you are saying, I really believe that it should be a legal requirement to have a licence to own a toolbox and it should cost £10,000,00 and be granted by people like me. I won't have ANYONE touch anything mechanical of mine. There is not one person in this world that can look after my machinery as well as I.

A dealer a few years ago tried to tell me I could only buy a screen for a bike from them if they fitted it. I didn't buy it from them.

Good for you mate on getting another old Bonnie sorted and I hope to meet you and see your beautiful old machine one day

    Al

Nice Time to drop in and introduce myself. Bonneville's are fantastic machines and sound awesome when you hear them coming from long way off.
