Something that's just occurred to me.
I got my Speed dyno'd and set up at Hilltops M/C's last week.
Not impressed by Triumphs mapping even allowing for the fact it's a generic map.
Anyway, it's not unusual for a dealer to update the map as and when a new one is released.
I'm not sure if the update mapping sit's on top of a base map or replaces the base map.
If it's replacing the base map, I'm guessing I'd lose the dyno'd map.
So, I'm just wondering if I can download the map to my tablet, so I can upload the backed up dyno map if that happens?

Not sure about a tablet but to laptop if you've got an obd-USB cable and tune ecu it should be no problem. Even if I asked the triumph dealer not to flash the ecu the message never seemed to get to the mech.

OK, got both of those, so it shouldn't be a problem then.
The tablet's OS is Windows 10 so should be fine.

    I'll try it later.

    TC,

The hilltop map can not be over written. Don't worry about it.

To be honest if they didn't spend time getting it right in the first place what are the chances that they would update it?

    Ah right OK.

I did try the Tuneecu route, but it didn't recognize the ECU.
