    Well I doubt they're hourly rate is £140, try and get them down mate seems an unreasonable price.

    What tail tidy you got on there? My R&G ones I've had to modify a bit to have like a 2cm gap between the exhaust and the indicator.
    Don't pay attention to the messy garage haha

    Had a SC Project on my 2011 Speedy. Sounds great with a nice gurgle when you shut the throttle. Build quality is good and the finish is holding up very nicely P1012384.JPG

    Think it's a cleaner look without clips, especially if you have foot pegs off.
    If you find the silencers are loose, untighten the support bolt (by the left, passenger foot peg) slacken the link pipe to main pipe clamp.
    Then using a piece of wood, stick it behind the exhaust at the bottom, by the clamp. Use the bolts of the rear suspension mount as a leaver (see pic's) pull back to create a tight fit.

    Van, it's the Evotech tail-tidy. Really well made and fit & finish is good. I'm just a little unsure about the number plate light. The plate seems to be at a too-acute angle and the bright white LED light can be seen from behind by other road users. I worry this might get me pulled. I spoke to Evotech and they said this was normal.

    What do others think?

    The map is actually supposed to slow it down by 3-4 BHP apparently. Not sure if that's just a rumour mill or what. But I haven't noticed any performance difference yet. The tech told me that the bike does learn as it goes and adjusts so maybe that's what will happen with mine eventually.

    I'm a big fan of that tail tidy!
    Considering selling mine now and getting that one!
    LED light is fine mate it's a number plate light there's no limit on how bright they are. On my BMW it's the same super bright and can see me for miles.

    Maybe try getting a smaller number plate I've been riding for years up and around London never been pulled on the size of the number plate!
    Lately they will only pull me to check if the bike is actually mine as the theft number is rising rapidly in London.

    That's a worry Andy,

    How many miles have you done since the remap? As Van says, and I'm no expert, I've heard the ECU self adjusts over time.

    Any owners more experienced/knowledgeable about this please chime in.

    FYI their radiator and oil cooler guard is also excellent.

    Not the cheapest but far superior quality IMHO.

    i got the guys at the workshop to take my baffles out. So bad the remap and the baffles out at the same time. I don't do much riding in the week but I'll try and rack up some mileage on the weekend and I'll let you know if I notice any differences!

    Thanks guys, much appreciated if you can post your "seat of the pants" experiences after a few extra miles after the Dealer remap.

    I guess the only way to tell for real is on the Dyno.

    Anyone have any experience with third party remaps? I've heard the new Triumph ECU can't be unlocked and I don't fancy putting a Power Commander on.

    Wait for your warranty to expire first, then do a remap.
    Done a remap on my car win a prestigious company and bmw refused to honour a warranty claim because they found different software on the cars ECU. I've had a bad experience with 3rd party remap. So I steer clear from them for now.

    I fitted a Leo Vince can and did not bother with a new map and it runs fine :)

    It'll run fine, but you can get a lot more out of it with a dedicated remap.

    Give triumphs head office a shout and ask for techincal help, the guys there are super helpful, they even told me I could fit the cans from the model before on mine and that there was no difference in them except for the model number because of the Euro 4 emissions.

    Triumph, I assume that's why you're saying to contact them ?

    Funnily enough I rode past the Head Office last week, it's around the corner from the dyno.
