Hello boys and girls! So this bike is brand new and I'm waiting for it to arrive. Thought I was gonna order some parts while waiting but I get no good answers either from Triumph or various sellers on eBay... So does anybody have a clue about what parts that fit the 675 can be used on the 765? I was thinking first about a tail tidy and removing the cat and putting on some shorty etc.

    Thanks

I too cant answer what you are asking...But.
Ive had the RS on order for a couple of months, should be here in a week or so
Ordered the arrows can, specific to the 765....And tail tidy, but unsure if its model specific.
The can is slp on and not the full system, comes with an updated triumph map.

Hi guys! Well Triumph just said nothing fits from the old model. Which tail tidy did you order Anthony? What I'm looking for is street illegal I guess so maybe that's why it's harder to get answers. Anyway I guess I'm not the only one using "non original" parts. The seller at the local Triumph said after I do mods on the exhaust I just bring to them for a remap so that's cool. Engine warranty will still be good too. I'm ready to do minor adjustments by myself and there is plenty of shops around here too that do all kinds of work and the labour is cheap. Just that nobody has parts so was thinking about ordering from eBay while waiting for the bike...

Occupy go on triumph web site, look at new bikes, close the rs then go to either configuration, or accessories you will find tail tidy there. Ordered mine from triumph so assume it's a triumph part.

Thanks for the replies guys. Seems like a nice forum!

Yeah I'll probably chop of the original tail and possibly the exhaust too. Can't wait for the bike to arrive. Been riding a scooter for way too long!

    Regards, Timo

I'm in the same position as the OP with my RS arriving tomorrow. I have spent the last month building up bits and pieces and doing a lot of reserach. AKAIK, the tail tidies and radiator protectors from the 675s will fit the new bike. I have also had a custom cover made at www.specialisedcovers.co.uk - I had a question about the sticky-out bar mirrors, so they actually went to a nearby Triumph dealer and measured everything up before making me the cover!

My bike waiting patiently at the dealers on Tuesday:

Forgot to mention the tank is identical, so I ordered some Scotchgard 3M Pro side grips to protect that matte paint from Tankslappers in the US

That's great! I'm gonna look around some more but I need to have the bike with me. There's plenty of shops here in Phuket doing custom work since nobody is riding a legal bike lol. I heard there is a guy nearby welding titanium so he will be one of the first on my list...

I see there is a couple videos up on YouTube now with custom exhausts finally! Btw does anyone know if the tail light from 675 will fit? Found this beauty on eBay (item nr 361193463528. Think I'll skip the tail tidy and relocate the license plate somewhere...

Removed the cat (god damn it's a heavy peace of...), passenger foot pegs and the tail. Found a really cheap muffler and a local guy doing even cheaper welding. The sound is awesome! Had 500km on the clock and brought it to service and a remap. Bike is riding great and the new exhaust has given plenty of character. Can't believe how quite and boring the bike was with the original exhaust! Replaced the rear tail light with a smoke coloured LED w integrated turn signals. Slapped on Stomp Grip tank pads and that made a huge difference for riding comfort (no more sliding forward). Waiting for a new tail tidy that will only hold the license plate just below the tail light. Also ordered dual hardwired 1080p dash cam. Very dangerous to drive here in Phuket... Thinking about ordering the bar end turn signals too (Motogadget). Any thoughts? Should I post a video about the sound?

I had a custom pipe made between the header and the muffler. I don't know if you have that or if you only have a muffler.
