Gp Shifting On A 2013 675r

    Did a search of the site but nothing found, So has anyone got any suggestions on how to go about this?

    I take it you mean reversing the gear shift to one up five down? If so some rear sets may be the way to go.

    The way to reverse the shift pattern is to move the stubby actuator lever adjacent the motor through 180 degrees. I am not sure it is possible on a Street Triple because of frame clearance issues.
    Basically the the stubby lever that exits the LH side of the motor points down. You would need it to point up and for the actuating rod to still have clearance to the footpeg assembly without fouling the frame. Ditto the lever itself.

    I would just add as an old fart that these things may seem 'trick' but that the public highway is no place to highside because your 'ambition exceeded your talent' as Casey Stoner once elegantly chided VR46.

    Is that possible on a street, I know you can't on a speed as the adjusting rod runs through the frame, hence my suggestion of rear sets?

    I suspect not, as I wrote above, but I also think it is misconceived on a road bike - a bit like thumb brakes for use at full lean.......
