Ok bit of an update,I've ordered Avon storms and quite a few other finishing bits off the net,down side is I've had to order a new foot for the Dyson and door for the washing machine,just so my missus has some parcels as well....update to follow as long as she doesn't see this post

 

The new sticky stuff is on but I'm not taking them out until they sweep the road

 

Lights and indicators on and wired up, just the seat pad to shape and stick down and I would have been ready to go but the rust has come back with a vengeance in the tank so another tank on its way

 

Tank arrived now it's filled and primed ready for the next bit

 

It will be red oxide tomorrow

 

Satin black Wednesday all covered with a mat lacquer Thursday but not to worry the carb cleaner will get it off on Friday

 

Red oxide and satin black, tomorrow gets cut back and mat lacquer

 

OK, question time, does this need a triumph decall or should I leave it blank ? ?

 

I was ok until she found the tank in the airing cupboard curing

Its a nice idea, but I'm in such a hurry now to get the bike on the road it may have to wait until the winter, this is an ongoing project that won't stop

Matt lacquer, just looking for a bit of input before I finish it off

 

Its rattle can so not that good, and the finish is definitely going to be matt it's just decal or no decal
