500m service done and now using sport mode at last. The bike is feeling really nice now with a few miles under its belt and the suspension softened off. Still only using 6k revs max but it's got some really nice grunt.
Fitted a couple of extras yesterday (triumph badges for engine cases etc and sump guard). That's it now for me until next spring when ill get some slip ons. Last few rides now this year while weather holds out!

It's triumph with the final part removed with the red rear reflector so yes it's plug n play . I just fitted the rear led light back to the bracket instead.

Thanks Chris. Looking at part on the Triumph configurator it's quite long. Does it come apart?

I've just done my first decent trip using only Sport mode, I did the odd few miles before but always thought 'normal' was good enough. A year on and I still find the bike amazing, it pulls like a plastic bike, has any body accelerated v sports bike ?

I never use anything other than sport mode tbh. It's a pain that it won't stay in that mode when you turn off the bike tho!

Question. Getting close to new shoe time for myTTR. Are you using the Michelin P RS without a tube?? They are tubeless tires- right? Did you do anything to seal up the nipples on the inside or did you just get them mounted. So far no leaks?? I would love to fit a tub less tire on her.

Hi Chris, when I had my KTM 1190 Adventure (which had multi modes) it would not hold selected modes, always defaulting to 'normal'. Then they came out with a small cable mod which retain the selected setting even after turning the bike off.

I was just thinking that maybe with Triumph dealer diagnostic kit perhaps they could change the 'default mode' setting so it would retain your selection after switch-off ? Just a thought.

Hi Phil, wots retired , they are tubeless but must have a tube due to the wheel make up --as you say. I had a Puncture about a month after I got it and was wondering if the valve had decapitated itself on the rim .
Thinking about it, my valve is leaning a bit now --like its not sat in the right place
