Well having read all the posts on this forum and looked at many reviews, I decided to give the cheap and cheerful Freed Conn system a go. If truth be known at £60 for 2 sets, if it all works as it should, it might be good value for money. Time will tell.:)
They arrived in quick time from China and yesterday, I fitted them to the helmets, paired them up along with the Garmin Sat Nav and Hey Presto it all works just fine.
Instructions are good and the whole kit looks good quality. So looking forward to giving it a good work out before our long trip to the South of France returning home via the Black Forest area.
I did have one slight disappointment, When the Sat Nav kicks in or I want to play music only the 1 head set gets the instructions or music. It appears you cannot pair both head sets to the Garmin. I think I can understand this, tell me if I am wrong. But if both could hear the instructions and the second headset was on another bike rather than my pillion they would be hearing my Garmin. But once I ensured it was the driver's helmet getting the instructions we settled for that. As for the music, when Maureen is with me we very rarely listen to it anyway, but if riding on my own the system works just fine. So all good.

Doubt the garmin will pair with more than one BT headset. Never seen that facility on my garmin.
Why would you need your pillion to hear instructions?.

Quite simply because she wants too, why should I question it ?
