    Hello from Maintal, Dave!

Good choice! I had this Scrambler for a couple of days when my bike got new tires and TÜH (MOT?).
I did not miss any power at all having the torque at hand that the Scrambler delivers.

My second bike though (first one is a Bonnie T120) is this:

...and I love every minute on it as well. It is a lot of fun to compare the characters of the Bonnie and the Iron.
    Cannot get enough of both.
As to corrosion: I think, we are facing a general problem here that concerns all makers. If you file through the threads on here, you will also find some pretty sad stories about Bonnies and their sisters, dealing with rust. Pretty sad.
But hey, there are means to deal with this and I decided that corrosion will not be taking the fun out of riding for me :yum

And since this is a Triumph forum (and one of the most hilarious as well), I'll end my little blahdeebla with an appropriate Bonnie-pic.

Welcome in Dave and have lots of fun on here! It is a great bunch!

Thanks.......It's perfect for the twisry country roads here, which hug the rivers.

Hi....To be really honest, it was a close call between the two - Size was another reason I chose the Scrambler.......At a height of 1.87 with a history of back issues, I felt a bit cramped up on the Iron.

Yeah Dave, I can relate: I am 1,80 and for me the fit is perfect. It actually was the Bobber that I felt awkward on.
And I fully understand about the close call :)
If it was not for the Bonnie in my Garage, I'd probably also picked the Scrambler over the HD.
The Scrambler, like the Bonnie delivers an almost perfect package, doesn't it?

In my situation, it is like owning a Glock and adding a Ruger revolver :D Nice diversity...

    Cheers, Daniel

Blimey Daniel, I reckon that's taking 'shoot out' a bit too literally mate.
