    hi all,

Just wondering what you good people think this is. I'm leaning towards pinlock. The late eighties and thru the nineties for me was all about looking for something to stop the visor steaming up. Must've wasted hundreds in my search over the years, and although some things worked better than others, nothing REALLY worked. Don't miss not being able to see properly.

What have I missed that's made biking easier for everyone?

Every bike I owned 30+ years ago had drum brakes.
Following my return to biking 18 months ago I definitely like the disc brakes, plus they are a lot easier to maintain.

Automatic chain oilers. Whether it's Scotoiler or any other make it just makes chain maintenance a thing of the past.

Biggest personal improvement to biking is me!! Since I came back to motorcycling I've matured 600% as a motorcyclist. Gone are the days I used to do pub crawls or party hopping, time triAls from Barnes to Hammersmith and back, riding stoned or coked up! Biggest draw back? I don't think I ride as well as I thought I did then!!

It's when you can't start the bike in the morning so you kick the missus out of bed to give you a push! The only draw back is if there's a lot of compression it can result in a hefty kick back which will leave you black and blue for months
